Waterton Lakes

$100.00

Many people know of Glacier National Park in the United States. It truly is an amazing stretch of landscape. But fewer know that the northern part of what we call Glacier National Park crosses the international border into Canada and is known as Waterton Lakes National Park. Like its southern counterpart, Waterton Lakes too is an amazing bit of scenery that also boasts picturesque sections of the Canadian Rockies as well as Waterton Lake itself. I first discovered this park after my first visit to Glacier and was immediately in love with it. I made a promise to return during winter and see the mountains covered in snow and a year later that promise came to fruition. Yes, the wind chill was murder and my fingers and toes hated me the whole time but the mountains made it all quite worthwhile.

A part of my “One of Four” series, this photo was made with a Fuji 6x17 film camera. Sadly this camera is now out of commission and all proceeds via the sales of prints from this set will go to help getting this camera to the repair shop and back in action. Thank you!

This panoramic image is printed personally by me and measures approximately 12.5 inches by 40 inches.
