The Hoh

$100.00

I feel it kind of futile to try and describe the Hoh. It is so much. At its surface, the Hoh is a section of temperate rain forest located on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington. It is one of the wettest places in the continental U.S. All that rainfall is apparent when venturing into the Hoh. You walk on a bed of moss, moss covers every surface, and when you finally get back to your vehicle you smell like moss. It is rich, lush, verdant, and all other appropriate adjectives you can think of. It is one of my favorite forests I have ever set foot in and every time I return I purposely try to get lost in it, at least for a little while.

A part of my “One of Four” series, this photo was made with a Fuji 6x17 film camera. Sadly this camera is now out of commission and all proceeds via the sales of prints from this set will go to help getting this camera to the repair shop and back in action. Thank you!

This panoramic image is printed personally by me and measures approximately 12.5 inches by 40 inches.
