Mt. Hood and Lost Lake

$100.00

One thing I always appreciate about visiting mountains is the unpredictable effect they have on the surrounding weather systems. Mountains can be surprisingly elusive, generating banks of clouds to hide within. But far from being disappointed when a mountain proves shy, I instead enjoy the fact that something so large and so close can still manage to hide from view. Such was the case this day up at Lost Lake, which normally provides an unobstructed view of this mountain.

A part of my “One of Four” series, this photo was made with a Fuji 6x17 film camera. Sadly this camera is now out of commission and all proceeds via the sales of prints from this set will go to help getting this camera to the repair shop and back in action. Thank you!

This panoramic image is printed personally by me and measures approximately 12.5 inches by 40 inches.
